30 seconds vs. 3 minutes
I’ve been wanting to try star trails for some time now. Here was a quick test, the only two shots I took. The first photo is a 30 second exposure, the second is three minutes…I didn’t have untime to pack yet, and didn’t have a chance to dig my camera remote out of my luggage, so the trails are a big wavy from my finger on the shutter button.
The second photo is a big orange, because there were clouds in the sky and they are reflecting the orange of the street lights.
I have some ideas composition wise that would make a much better photo. But the day is ending and there was not time for a journey uptown.
