Belmont Mine

It was just before sunset when I took this photo of the Belmont. The sun was behind the clouds and low in the sky, but it was another five or 10 minutes before it went completely down. I was in the field behind and to the East of it. I turned on the road just a bit before Mercury St. I experimented with my flash, trying to make the foreground bright, and trying not to make it look really fake, like it might if I used too much flash. The flash was attached to a sync chord, and I held it strait above my head and parallel to the ground to make the flash travel the maximum distance.
