I’m pretty sure this is the Steward Mine, but I’m not 100% certain. I looked at this map and determined it was the Steward Mine, because it was before the Mt. Con Mine and after the Original, and was close to the road on Main St. If anyone can confirm that or dispute it, please let me know.
Anyway, the sun was shining just right off of the windows. To me it looks like night and there are workers inside with the lights on. But really the reason the sky is so dark is because I exposed for the light on the windows, making everything else dark. I desaturated this photo because I think the color was kind of distracting.
