I have a portable power pack for my studio lights, and decided to finally test it out tonight. It lit up the machinery next to the Bell Diamond Mine all right, but not as much as I’d hoped. I set it off at full power four times during the 30-second exposure, and probably should have set it off more. I also have a strobe that is twice as strong, but I didn’t bring it. Maybe next time I’ll bring more than one studio strobe and some other ideas…
Anyway, this is a pretty common point of view, you’ll see it a lot in other people’s photos as well as in my own…too bad for the fence, and trespassing laws! Anyway, the 30-second exposure added some star trails above the head frame, that’s what those funny looking lines are. There are also two desktop images at the bottom.
Desktop Image Instructions: To set an image as your desktop, click one of the high res images at the bottom of this post (they look like thumbnails). Then right click the image, and click “set as background.” It’s as easy as that!
