The pastor at Mountain View Trinity United Methodist Church called his church the “Hogwarts” of Butte because of the many staircases going in every which way. I would agree….there are a lot of stairs. This is a view from the stairs up to the balcony down to the sanctuary.
I took this photo during the annual Stained Glass Tour put on by CPR (Butte Citizens for Preservation and Revitalization). It was interesting learning about the history of Butte’s stained glass as well as the history of Butte. We went to four beautiful churches.
After the stairs, the churches are as following: St. Marks Lutheran Church, Mountain View Trinity United Methodist Church and St. John’s Episcopal Church.
