The Clark Canyon Reservoir is just south of Dillon on I-15. Whenever I drive that way to get to Boise I see people boating and fishing here. This time it was pretty dead. It’s a beautiful area, though.

Just outside of Wisdom there’s this pond with a farm on it, and, as you can see, plenty of ducks.
This is the Big Hole River near Wise River. The wild flowers around it are beautiful, as is the river.
I traveled to the Lewis and Clark Caverns near Cardwell for Gold West Country. This was one of my favorites.
Today I really spent most of my time in Nevada City, Phillipsburg and Granite. But on the drive back the sun was setting so I had to get some shots Silver Lake (near Georgetown Lake…I couldn’t tell the difference between the two) and the fog-filled area between Georgetown and Anaconda. Nevada City is a “living ghost town,” meaning there are living historians portraying people in the 1860’s quite often, including this real-life grandmother and granddaughter making a cake.
Even though I didn’t get to participate by dressing up, I had a great time at the ball. Everyone was dressed up in 1860’s attire complete with broaches, big poofy dresses, gloves, hats and fans.
I loved Reeder’s Alley in Helena. I’m interested in history, and this old alley and historical buildings had just that.
