The Copper King Mansion is full of old wonderful relics. Old clothing, old furniture and old alarms are just a few of the thousands of items in this old historical house.
I am so appreciative I had the chance to take my photography students in to the mansion for a field trip. We had the house to ourselves for a little more than two hours. These are just a few of my favorite photos. I’ll have more in the weeks to come.
The first two photos are clothing that looks like old wedding dresses with some vintage shoes. The last photo is the original house alarm which is in the same closet as the dress, but to the right. This alarm was connected directly to the phone line since Clark himself owned the phone company. You could alarm the police, fire department, ambulance and run a test.
