It’s a typical Montana Spring. The beginning of Spring in Butte brings more frequent snow fall than in the winter. Luckily it usually melts quick.
The trees at Montana Tech were frosted over today. I was surprised the frost was still there at 2:30 when I took a late lunch to take photos.

This photo is of the trees on Highway 2 near Butte, toward Whitehall. I figured I might as well take photos of the fall foliage while it’s still around!
This photo is of the trees north of Walkerville, close to where the photo was taken yesterday. It’s a combination of 5 different exposures so I could capture the sunset and detail in the trees. I also added a blur around the edge.
