Evel Knievel Days 2: Flying Fools High Dive
A great new show is at Evel Knievel Days this year. The Flying Fools are a group of divers that do bold dives alone and with as many as four or five other divers at the same time. It’s funny, entertaining and a little bit crazy! The pool they jump into is only about twelve …
Evel Knievel Days Stunts
This is the Freestlye Motor Bike area on East Park Street, in front of Silver Bow Property Management. I used a long shutter speed to pan with the cyclers and capture them sharp but blur the background.
1920’s Bar
Check out what’s behind those mirrors…. This is a house on Porphyry Street (near the Uptown Dairy Queen). I took these photos while on assignment for Silver Bow Proberty Management. I wish all of the lights behind the glass worked…you can see that three of the four on each bottom side work, but none of …
Taj Mahal of Butte
This is such an amazing arch. I had no idea it existed, and if I did I would have photographed it a long time ago! Robert and I took the four-wheeler out, and he took me to this spot. He thinks it was from Columbia Gardens, but isn’t sure. If anyone, please let me know! …
Little House on the Prairie
Well it’s actually just north of Butte, not on the prairie. I thought this was the cutest little old house. I walked around to the back of the house, and the porch is caved in. The doors have locks on them. Yesterday Robert and I four-wheeled past this house and the light was just perfect, …
Shining Windows
I always see the light shining off the uptown buildings just before sunset while I’m on my way uptown. Once I get uptown, however, the windows aren’t shining. the angle of light isn’t the same and I’m left without a decent photo. I took this photo from farther away so I could still capture the …
The Studio is Done, Ready for the Opening!
Somehow everything got complete in time for the opening. Normally the two metal tables/bars won’t be there. I was using them for food and beverages. You can see my studio lighting equipment behind the tables. While it is in working order right now, there is still much that needs to be done, including the electrical …
Studio Update: The opening is in a day and it’s not complete yet!
The floors are freshly painted black, and so is the trim. All that’s left is putting in the red shag carpets, painting the back wall red, hanging the photos and moving everything in! Well, I guess that’s a lot of stuff to do in 24 hours…but it will get done!
Revamping the Milly Building
Robert Hyatt is revamping the Milly Building, which is across the street from the Courthouse. I love the old wood decor above the doorways and front window. It’s very intricate and unique. It’s also the original work, and was in such good condition that I had to ask if it was original or custom built. …
